1 W O R L D  F L I G H T   C L U B

1World Flight Club is a Flying Club that has been in operation at Tipton Airport since 2005.   1World Flight Club exists; 1) to provide economical aircraft rental access, 2) to provide its member pilots with with a sense of community that helps keeps members involved and proficient, and 3) to encourage diversity in aviation and participation in aviation humanitarian programs and services.

1World Flight Club owns a Socata Tampico airplane (N2824R) that is under leaseback to and operated by Tipton flight school 1World Aero.  Fleet dispatching, scheduling, maintenance, and training services are performed or managed by 1World Aero.  Aircraft rentals are billed through 1World Aero at reduced rates to members who contribute monthly dues.  These monthly dues are used to cover the fixed costs of the aircraft operations, meaning insurance and tiedown. 

While 1World Aero manages day to day operations, 1World Flight Club and its members organize and manage social activities such as airplane washes, flyout lunches, and pilot mentoring activites.

During bimonthly 1World Flight Club flyouts, the entire fleet is committed for group rental to fly as many members as possible to a particular nearby lunch destination.   This allows members to meet each other, fly together, and build a rapport.  Members who have not been flying regularly are able to fly with other members in a supported environment, which helps them to maintain their proficiency and motivation.
