W H Y J O I N 1 W O R L D F L I G H T C L U B Flight clubs structure their monthly dues to pay for their fixed aircraft costs, and therefore club aircraft rental rates can be adjusted to the lowest possible at cost rate permitted by actual membership levels. Members may bond and become co-owners within the flight club. Bonded members pay $5 less in monthly dues than unbonded duespayers, and pay $5 less per hour than unbonded duespayers on aircraft rental in 1World Aero fleet aircraft other than N2824R. As co-owners, bonded members do not pay state sales and use tax on N2824R.
Flight clubs also generally provide more flexible access to aircraft for traveling on overnight or extended flights. This access is generally a major attraction and motivation to the individual pilot for getting their license. Flight school aircraft need to be available for multiple training flights with multiple clients in a given day, thus schools can not afford to loose their work horses for extended periods. As a hybrid flight club and flight school, 1World Aero specifically reserves one of its four airplanes for daytrips and overnight rentals, requiring a two flight hour per 24 hour minimum in season, and by prior agreement during slower winter months. Finally 1World Flight Club provides 1World Aero students with a close knit aviation community that encourages and supports its members to move forward and to stay proficient. The club provides a means of finding other like minded pilots with whom to share flying experiences, be it through comparing notes, swapping stories, or splitting flight time. Bimonthly club fly outs are always a popular event, with an average of a half dozen to a dozen members participating on any given fly out.
